Well, George Mason universities Mercatus center did a survey on just this topic.

If you happen to live in a liberally controlled "Blue" state like N.Y. and Massachusetts you will not be surprised by the findings that ALL of the states that are the least free for it's citizens are liberal democrat controlled.

So watch this video and see where your state comes in!

Maybe it's time for a move? If you do move to a free state once word of advice.

Do NOT move there from a "blue" state and expect them or demand that they have the same level of services of the state you just left!! One of the reasons the "blue" states tax so much is because they have to pay for the endless amount of programs they provide! This was a real problem for New Hampshire! People from Massachusetts would move to souther N.H. and start demanding the same services they had in Mass. Thus destroying the reason people moved there in the first place to begin with!!
Be self reliant! Do not depend on the government to take care of you! If you want to get back to a nation that is less intrusive and confiscates less of your money then stop demanding that every program that gets thrown down the pike get approved and funded! Stop voting in liberals!

We are losing our country. We are losing our jobs, our manufacturing base and now we are WILLFULLY losing our sovereignty through complacency and laziness while some people watch American idol and Dancing with the stars!! Those citizens are exactly what the leftist Marxist progressives are banking on!
People say "I'm too busy with my family and kids to think about politics" Well, what if the country those people grew up in is not there for their kids when they grow up? Is being involved even in a small way in what direction the country goes too much to ask so your kids and grand kids have the same opportunities that you did or is that too "Grown up" for many people?

It is critically important for you to know what is happening to our nation! I am promoting these videos below because Beck is right on. The leftist media calls him a"nut" or "crazy", but they never prove him wrong. Beck has exposed many of Obama's staff which are leftist socialist progressives and some that call themselves Communists. Yet, the White house never denies it, in fact they let two of them go after Beck exposed them. Why, if Beck was a "nut" or "crazy" would the White house do that??? Beck is the ONLY one out there acting as the lion at the gate for our Republic and the leftists hate him for it!

Don't believe me? Listen to the rhetoric that kids get from colleges and sometimes grade school about the "evil" capitalists that want to keep the poor down. That capitalists want to destroy the Earth just so they can make money. Like capitalists or conservatives want to have dirty water and air and soil that nothing grows in. How ridiculous! This is about Wealth redistribution and that's it! That's what the proposed "Cap and Trade" legislation and global warming is about totally.

Want another class warfare example? How about using class warfare to keep minorities voting for Democrats? "The Republicans aren't for you. They want to take away "your" welfare, "your" social security, "your" food stamps, now you can add "Your" healthcare!!!!

The Democrats BUY the votes of minorities and have been doing it for 50 years!
Did you know it was the Democrats that filibustered the 60's civil rights legislation??? That's right, THE DEMOCRATS WERE AGAINST CIVIL RIGHTS!!! Look it up!

Did you know what the 1868 Democratic party campaign theme was? "This is a white man's country, let white men rule." The Republican's condemned this. The first black candidates and office holders in politics were Conservative Republicans! MLK was himself a Republican. Conservatives have always been for personal responsibility, making the most out of your God given abilities and talents and helping people through private charities and religious organizations. Democrats for the last 60 years have been about making people slaves to the state! Now in this same vein Beck exposes in these videos the Democrats plans to give criminals their voting rights back for at least 4 Million released felons. Now, being that 3 out of every 5 prisoners are black who do you think they will vote for? They also want to give amnesty to illegal aliens, all 20 MILLION of them before this November's elections. Who do you think they'll vote for? Or what about their other proposal to use every gov't list of people to "Automatically" enroll them to vote to "help" the democracy and make things "easier" for them and to make sure they will be able to vote?? Those lists won't be manipulated by let's say groups like ACORN right?? NO!!!

We need jobs, but how can people be rehired or find new jobs when there are NO NEW JOBS TO GO TO??? Tell me, what has President Obama and the Democrat Congress done to bring jobs back to the country? They suggest giving companies a ridiculous $3000 per year tax credit if they hire a employee for $100K a year. Huh???? So you get $3K if you spend $100K?? Yeah, that will spur a lot of new job growth! They are not serious about bringing jobs back at all. They want people dependent on the state and thus dependent on them, and keeping them elected. This is about them keeping their power and control, NOT ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING OR SECURITY!

So for all of you that are reading this that disagree with me but don't really know why, I challenge you to think beyond the fact that you are a Democrat. Beyond the fact that "everyone" in your family is a Democrat and has always been a Democrat. Beyond the emotional, idealistic ideas of "Social justice" you learned in college that are NOT based in any realm of Constitutionality or Natural law and are a wrong headed, Marxist idea of putting a claim on someone else's personal property that they gained from their hard work for the benefit of someone else who did nothing to deserve it.

I challenge you to make your case on exactly why it is that you think the constant usurpation's of our freedom's and liberties by government and claims on our personal property (Money) for laws and programs that have NO basis in any of the enumerated powers listed in the Constitution by the founders to control Congress are correct and just.

Please read the Constitution and then go to ANY social program and tell me where Congress gets the power to enact such programs and to steal money for them from the working people! People might say "Well there's the general welfare clause."
Let me set people straight on this right now. The general welfare clause was in the Preamble to the Bill of Rights. Preambles have NO contractual power per common law and was again ruled on by the Supreme court. James Madison wrote about the general welfare clause in the Federalist papers and explained it again in debate on a bill in Congress. Here is his exact quote from the floor of the very first Congress after the Constitution was ratified refuting the notion that Congress had the ability to provide for everything under the general welfare clause.

"If Congress can employ money indefinitely to the general welfare,
And are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare,
They may take the care of religion into their own hands;
They may appoint teachers in every State, county and parish
And pay them out of their public treasury;
They may take into their own hands the education of children,
Establishing in like manner schools throughout the Union;
They may assume the provision of the poor;
They may undertake the regulation of all roads other than post-roads;
In short, every thing, from the highest object of state legislation
Down to the most minute object of police,
Would be thrown under the power of Congress.... Were the power
Of Congress to be established in the latitude contended for,
It would subvert the very foundations, and transmute the very nature
Of the limited Government established by the people of America." - James Madison

So as we see the general welfare clause was only meant to be directed at Congress' enumerated powers and that's it! Madison explains that the Congress was NOT meant to provide for anything else but them.

Another such perversion we are hearing about now with the UnConstitutional "healthcare" legislation is the "Supremacy act", this is also in the Constitution. It said that federal law supercedes state law, but again, only in their enumerated, legal powers!

Do you really think that the founders, who just got done fighting a revolution for their freedom and liberty from a tyrannical government would then write into law that the federal government would have the power to do ANYTHING it wanted and the states could do nothing about it?? These men put their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor on the line to go against King George and his oppressive rule and taxation and people actually want me to believe that the founders wrote into the Constitution an unlocked door for another tyrant or tyrants to take control again and rule our lives and take our property, liberty and freedoms?
NO they didn't!

So, I challenge you to throw off the defensive bindings of your political party, either one, but especially you liberal Democrats. Tell me why it is you defend such treacherousness from your party leaders and their assault on the ONLY document, the Constitution, which is protecting you from governmental tyrannical rule which we see raising it's head today with the back room deals and bribes to get legislation passed? If it is to "help" people then answer me this. How can you help someone by hurting and stealing money and liberty from another who most likely worked hard to get what they have and to get where they are?

It is time to take a side. It is time to ask yourself if what you believe is on the side of what's morally right in this country that was founded on personal responsibility, freedom and liberty? Those three things open the doors of happiness, success, (no matter what your definition of it is) and a better life for your family and children. Legislating "Fairness" and "Justice" only breeds dependance, laziness, and robs all people of their ambitions, dreams and being all they can be through challenges and yes, sometimes failure. Life is NOT fair!

So, which side are you on? If you are on the left and you can't break my argument here with history, fact and reason then maybe you need to rethink your political leanings and become an active defender of the Constitution if you aren't already, because it was written to defend you!

Martha Coakley: Constitutional Religious Freedom Should Only Go So Far!!

Two days ago Martha Coakley, democrat candidate for the open Massachusetts Senate seat vacated by the late Ted Kennedy did a radio interview with talk show host Ken Pittman of WBSM 1420am in Massachusetts' south coast. Pittman asked Coakley if she would pass a health care bill that included a conscientious objector provision to certain procedures, most likely abortion and/or contraceptives. She said she would not support any bill that had this provision because abortion is legal under Roe vs Wade and that health care workers "have" to full fill that law. This statement in itself is incorrect as not all medical facilities perform abortions. When Pittman pushed her on this she mentioned that her opponent Republican state senator Scott Brown did file an amendment to a Massachusetts bill giving hospitals or E.R. personnel the ability to deny "emergency" contraceptives, i.e. abortion or the "Morning after pill" based on there religious beliefs. Coakley stated that there is a "separation of church and state" which is a fantasy used by the democrats. What the Constitution actually says in the First amendment is "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof". Which means that there would be NO state sponsored religion like the church of England that was forced on people by the British government. Remember the colonists came here FOR religious freedom! The words "Separation of church and state is NOT found ANYWHERE in the Constitution, nor any of our founding documents, NONE!

Pittman challenges her by saying "in the emergency room you still have your religious freedom." After stammering from that statement she goes on to say "the law says that people are "allowed" to have that and you can have religious freedom; you shouldn't work in the emergency room."

So now Coakley, democrat, is begrudgingly confirming that the law "says" you have religious freedom, but wants to put limits or confines on that religious freedom and in doing so will tell you where to work and what to do!

A rational person would say "If a hospital or individual does not want to perform an act that puts them at odds with their religious teachings and beliefs they should have the right to deny that request to anyone. Eventhough the person seeking these services does not hold the same beliefs their rights under the law should not squash someone else's rights of religious freedom given to them under the first amendment! The person seeking such a service still has the ability to find another individual or facility that does not have those same beliefs that would restrict them under their religion." A popular satellite radio host, Andrew Wilkow has a saying and it applies here. "Your freedom to be you includes my freedom to free of you."

Instead like every other issue that liberal democrats take up, they do away with personal responsibility and choice and instead want to change everything for everyone to fit their agenda!

The Church, Abortion and War - the Real numbers

The Catholic church itself has condemned abortion since it has become legal with
the Supreme courts decision in the Roe vs Wade case in 1973 making it legal in the U.S. Since that controversial decision was made there have been 49,551,703 abortions performed in the U.S. alone according to the Guttmacher Institute and the National right to life website!! That's 49,551,703 children that never had a chance to live because of their Mother's incredibly selfish decision not to carry the baby to term and at the very least give the child the chance at life by putting it up for adoption. Now, some cases might have been rape, incest, safety of the mother or of the realization that the fetus was deformed in some way or that some other birth defect was detected that the parents didn't want to or couldn't deal with. That being said does anyone really believe that even a small number of these 49,551,703 abortions were because of rape, incest, safety of the mother or birth defects? I don't. These excuses, though some may be valid, are mostly just a way to justify this horrible, evil law!

Now let's rack up the numbers of that most "evil" tool of humanity that the liberals always condemn the U.S. for, WAR. So we know liberal's love Roe vs Wade and a women's "right" to choose and they hate, hate, hate war because of all the "Innocent" victims is creates. Let's compare the number of deaths from abortion to the number of deaths from ALL U.S. war involvement shall we?

So we already know that since 1973 when Roe vs Wade made abortion legal in the U.S. there have been 49,551,703 from 1973 to January 2010.

Now, according to Department of Defense's own data the total number of U.S. war deaths both in theater and out of theater is 1,194,144 since the inception of the nation!!!

The church condemns abortion outright. If you are Catholic and follow the church's doctrine and the teachings of Jesus how could you perform such an act? Even if you are not devout, but still believe in Christ how could you? I say that you could not and that health care workers should have the right under our religious freedom to refuse to kill another human being no matter how old they are! If you believe abortion is as much a murder as any other act that involuntarily stops a human beings heart then how can any government law or official force you to become a murderer in God's eyes? God's law is more powerful, "Thou Shall Not Kill"

If you have to protect your or your families lives from another and you end up killing that person in your defense then I think that is justified. Someone trying to do evil upon you or your family has made that choice and deserves the consequences. A little unborn baby being killed inside it's Mother's womb, before it has a chance to live even one day or take it's first breath, is truly the height of evil! God has granted this little creature life and who are we as humans to deny it?

One more thing, I know some will be offended at my stance here and to that I say I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you don't see the bigger picture here. I'm sorry that you excuse evil. If you think I'm wrong and you think a women's "right to choose" to abort her baby is correct then why don't you go watch an abortion on the web? I have. Just google "abortion video", you'll find it. Then why don't you pass it around through email and post it on facebook and let all your friends celebrate your "right to choose". If Roe vs Wade was such a great, terrific court decision then I'm sure they would all love to see the video of the end result right??

If you find you can not pass this video around, if you can not stand to look at the horrible images of dismembered babies, which is part of it, then I suggest that the Roe vs Wade decision was wrong and evil. I suggest that anyone like Martha Coakley that wants to make people go against God and their religion and perform abortions on women who are either ignorant at best or evil at worst is themselves evil. And finally, if you take the position of "well, I wouldn't get an abortion, but I don't want to stop anyone else from getting one, that's their decision." This is like saying, "I wouldn't murder anyone, but I'm not going to tell someone else they can't murder someone, that's their choice." Do you see the ridiculousness of it now? If you still take that position then I say you are supporting evil and Satan directly by NOT condemning this evil act. With your inaction you are going against God!

Now you have a REAL choice to make!

Isn't it funny that old Al OWNS a major part of a carbon credit company (see here for the article) and he's the one pushing the use of carbon credits as a "remedy" to global warming??

So you give money for using too much carbon and then you get a piece of paper saying your money will go to "offsetting" your carbon use and the money goes where?? Who checks to see if Al really goes and plants trees or whatever with your money? This is the biggest scam in world history and the only reason it has gotten this far is because of willful ignorance of the media and the people themselves!

America's economic crisis, jobs, the democrats powercrazed agenda and the Constitutional convention

Obama and the dems never get it. Now they will hold another "Job summit" and talk of a second "stimulus" plan is being considered and pushed by speaker of the house, Nancy (Bela) Pelosi (I want to suck your wallet!)

Gov't doesn't create permanent jobs as we are seeing now with the failed $787 Billion dollar stimulus boondoggle they rammed through and their lying about jobs in non existent congressional districts. The only way to really create jobs and opportunity for people is to get gov't out of the way by lowering taxes on both established and new businesses. Make it attractive for business owners from around the world to come back to the U.S.
Why do people think these businesses left in the first place? Over burdensome regulations which gov't forcefully inserted like it was a primary partner in people's private business, ever increasing taxes and fees, labor unions that increasingly demanded more and more money and benefits to the point that some demanded part of the companies profits and yes, healthcare costs that have been driven up by gov't itself by forcing hospitals to cover people who can't pay in the emergency room, like illegal aliens. Also, health insurance companies are made to mandatorely cover many different procedures and events that they might not cover in basic plans or they could be offered ala cart to a subscriber.

Tort reform is not mentioned. Letting people buy insurance across state lines is not mentioned to increase competition between health insurance companies thus lowering costs to the subscriber, but we keep hearing from Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed that the gov't run public option, which will become a monopoly itself in the end, WILL increase competition and lower costs? These people are living in fantasyland. They don't care about the people. It's all about control of the people and their resources for the democrats.

Should there be a safety net type of insurance for people with pre existing conditions? Yes, some sort of gov't backed insurance should be made available to them, no doubt. I also believe that people should be pushed to have a catastrophic medical insurance plan that would cover medical bills from huge procedures or treatments. These are exactly the ones that cause people to have to file for bankruptcy. These types of insurance plans have been out there for years. They have high deductibles, which keep their costs down and they are not meant to be used for everyday doctor visits or prescriptions. If people got a tax incentive to buy these plans we would no longer have a problem in this area. This is another example of letting the free markets solve a problem. In going this route you do NOT have to relent to the bureaucratic whims of a "medical" board telling you what will be covered for you health and when you can get it. By doing things yourself and solving your own problems you remain FREE!!

Government IS the problem with almost every aspect of our lives! When Ireland lowered their business tax rate why is it that companies flocked there and Irish immigrants that once came to America looking for jobs went home? What, because the lowering of taxes to attract new business "didn't" work?

The answer to America's economic problems are obvious.

-Lower taxes on both business and the people.
-Reduce or eliminate burdensome regulation on business and people.
-Stop unfunded mandates to the states that the states pass on to the people through taxes.
-Reduce spending and stop printing money which will ultimately create hyper-inflation.
-Reduce the size of the federal government.
-Reduce the dependence on foreign nations for energy.
-Make Congress adhere to the 18 enumerated powers listed for them in the Constitution with no other
powers.
-Eliminate the federal reserve, which is itself unconstitutional.
-Go back to a currency that is backed up by a hard asset like gold, silver, oil, ect.

Our "representatives" in Washington though will not do this because it would diminish their control over the people and it would reduce their use of a "crisis" to get their agenda through. Yes, I'm speaking to you Obama and the rest of the dems on Capital hill. You don't deserve the seats you hold and to me and many you are bordering on treason against the people of this great nation just so you can get your agenda passed. Vote Conservative in the 2010 Congressional election and again in the 2012 Presidential election as well as your local elections.

Also, you may soon hear of a proposed national Constitutional Convention. many pundits and politicians alike will criticize this, saying it is very dangerous, that when you hold a Constitutional convention the whole country could be taken over. This is not true. first off the Congress hates this idea because it will change the rules for them and here is the best part, they are NOT in control of it once it has been convened! The status quo is very nervous of the national Concon as it's called. Secondly, Concon representatives, which are sent by the states, cannot change anything, they can only make suggestions and come up with proposed amendments. It would still take 3/4's of the states to ratify ANY amendment to the Constitution. So say there was an amendment to ban all guns from the people, or to ban the first amendment or to do something else that was crazy like repeal the entire Constitution and replace it with a U.N. approved Constitution(which has been suggested believe it or not.). Do you think that 38 states would vote to ratify such radical changes? Of course not. What would happen though would be a clarification of the Constitution's Second amendment, the commerce clause, the general welfare clause, maybe even a repeal of the 16th amendment that supposedly gave the federal gov't the power to tax income and maybe the 14th amendment which is used by illegal aliens to sneak in the country, have a child and then that child is now a citizen. Of course, you can't throw the Mother and Father out because who will take care of the child who is now a legal citizen? These types of misused, unclear amendments and out right usurpations of power and liberty by the politicians in Washington and in some states is exactly why we need another Constitutional Convention. It is really our only path to stopping the tyrants in D.C. because they will not listen to us anymore.

Open letter to Congress from one of US!!

This is an open letter that a woman named Janet Contreras from Arizona wrote to the Congress and the President out of pure frustration with seeing our country be so diminished by our so called "representatives" who have put us in this terrible situation out of self serving manipulation of our country for their own wants, not ours, which is why we elected them.

Hear me now - If you have never read any articles I have sent you or watched any videos I have forwarded to you, Please read this letter and watch the video of it being read on the Glenn Beck show as well. It's in two parts. And forward it on. This person's open letter is exactly my sentiments and why I am active and critical in politics. It's time for us to wake up as Americans people and get informed to who is doing what now!!

I'm a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you're willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would horribly feel so disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut job am I? Will you please tell me?
Well, these are briefly my views and issues for which I seek representation:
One, illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I'm not a racist. This isn't to be confused with legal immigration.
Two, the TARP bill, I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.
Three: Czars, I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.
Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.
Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down!
Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don't you start there.
Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.
Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? Why ‑‑ what do you have against shareholders making a profit?
Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.
Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band‑Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.
Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try ‑‑ please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.
Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now.
Take a breath. Listen to the people. Let's just slow down and get some input from some nonpoliticians on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I'm busy. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.
I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is such urgency and recklessness in all of the recent spending.
From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on you to bring our concerns to Washington. Our president often knows all the right buzzword is unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we're morons.
We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work , pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone and we are now looking up at you. You have awakened us, the patriotic spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office. We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us when hewill rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.
Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us. Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them. Because we will get you fired and they will not save you. If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one. We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming.

Obama trying to hide corruption at Americorps and friend by firing independent Inspector General of Americorps?

The question du'jour is...if Obama has nothing to hide then why is he firing this independent Inspector General who's job it is to investigate Americorps? The same Americorps that is the Obama's pet organization that turns urban youth into the "community organizer's" of the future.

If there is no fraud or waste of tax payer money here then why did the White house try and strong arm this inspector to resign or be fired with only one hour to make his decision, completely trying to circumvent the termination rules in the "Inspectors General Reform Act" after he said he found charges of waste by a supporter and friend of his who had also received money from Americorps?

The Inspectors General Reform Act requires that the President give at least 30 days notice to Congress with the reasons for the termination of any inspector general. When Obama was a Senator from Illinois he co-sponsored this same act but now as President himself it looks like his administration tried to strong arm it's way around the requirements of this act!

As for me I will stick with private insurance or at least try a healthcare savings account. I am totally against government run healthcare because of the world wide broken promise of "Free health care for all" Every country that tries Socialized medicine fails at it because they run out of money, doctors and space thus every country "RATIONS" healthcare. From what I have seen the older you are the longer you wait because under "socialized", government run health care a person's ability to generate taxable income for the state is a deciding factor on how soon you get treatment or if you will be considered "cheaper when dead"!!! This wording was passed as part of the "Stimulus" bill last February. Don't believe it? Read these excerpts from Bloomberg.com telling us BEFORE the stimulus bill passed what Obama and Washington Democrats slipped in under the guise of "crisis".

Now the Democrats are once again using a "crisis" to push for government run, socialized healthcare to "help" everyone. What they really want though is yet another way to CONTROL us, like every other program they push. They try to pay us off with entitlement programs that the tax payers pay for and people become reliant on, like with Welfare, Public housing, Food stamps, Social security, Medicare, Medicaid, Medical S.S.I disability. In and of themselves these programs were designed for good, but along the road of recent history they have become tools for the fraudulent citizen who would rather fake a claim then to work and be productive to society. They have also become weapon's of temptation for the Democrat politician who pushes one entitlement programs after another to "solve" a problem. Usually a problem of his or her own making. They never look at the cause of the problem, only the symptoms. In return for their "gift" to the poor citizen "victim" all they expect in return is a forever vote for not only them personally but the entire Democrat party. Now they want to use healthcare as the latest weapon in the class warfare battle. Instead of really trying to help people who don't have or have been denied healthcare, which is rumored to be around 47 million, they want to change the healthcare of the entire 300 million plus population!! Also, what they don't want you to know is in that 47 million are over 20 million illegal aliens that they count. As well as people who have the money but choose not to get healthcare because they might not want to spend the money or they want that new car or flat screen TV! In other words we are supposed to feel bad for criminals who snuck in here and stole Americans jobs and feel bad for people with a lack of fore sight! I know that there are many who really do have a legitimate problem who get stuck between income lines and previous conditions and yes I think something should be done for them, but don't you think it would be a hell of a lot cheaper to help them then to start paying for all 300 million of us?
Another little secret is that they won't be able to pay for all of us and that's where healthcare rationing comes in, starting with the elderly. How will you like it when your Grandfather or Mother, Your Father or Mother, Aunt or Uncle gets told they will have to wait for care or "Sorry, we are not going to cover that procedure that could cure your colon cancer. You'll just have to except getting older." This is what happens in England, Canada and in every other country that has government run healthcare. Obama and the Democrats don't want you to know this because like the banking, automobile, and energy industries that they now fascistically control through the guise of "crisis", they want to control and have influence over your healthcare. Now all you have to do is ask yourself, in the birthplace of God given personal rights and freedoms is .....WHY?

Russia's Pravda: American capitalism gone with a whimper

This editorial opinion was carried by Russia's famous newspaper Pravda, once in the propaganda arm of the Soviets and their Communist/Marxist idealogies. I may not know much about Pravda or Russian history, but I do know this, the ex-Communists are telling us what Obama and the democrats are doing in their agenda of Fascism/Socialism is wrong. From this editorial the very view of America as a Capitalist stronghold of private property and freedom is now a joke to them and the rest of the world! I am embarrassed that Pravda, PRAVDA and the Russians damn it, are telling us to stop based on their own failed experiences and the brain surgeons in Washinton are not listening. This is all about controlling you, your money, your freedoms and your future for their gain! When will you people wake up and see that what Obama and the democrats are doing is selling you freedoms out from under you using not guns, though that might come later, but precedent. Crisis. Companies being "too big to fail".

For God's sake, for our sake and our countries, vote Republican in the 2010 Congressional elections and stop this by taking the power away from the democrats while you still can!!

American Capitalism gone with a whimper

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.
Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.
First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.
So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.
Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.
So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left. The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

Delahunt was a puzzle to me he would do many good things for his constituents but now I realize they all were "social" things. How could I have ever thought that a man that made a deal with the socialist/communist dictator Hugo Chavez who uses brutal tactics in his own country for cheap oil for the Mass. citizens energy plan instead of making a deal with the U.S. oil companies would possibly play within the Constitutional rules?

No to "Seizure" powers! My letter to Rep. William Delahunt.

Dear Representative Delahunt,

I have called your office multiple times on various issues. This is probably the most urgent and important yet though.I saw this headline in today's Washington post "Geithner Asks Congress for Broad Power to Seize Firms" Now he and the Obama administration wants to "seize" firms that "might" be failing and then sell their assets to their competitors??? Can this administration get any more un American in their thinking and actions? This tactic is right out of the Communist playbook! I know that might sound crazy but they are asking for yet more power and I for one am saying "ENOUGH"!!!!

If the Congress gives them this power, Congress and the Executive branch will be yet again in direct violation of your and their oaths of office to uphold the Constitution!

No where in the Constitution does the Congress have the power to seize ANY business let alone vote to transfer a non existent power to the Executive branch! If you believe they do then I am demanding you show me in the text of the Constitution in the enumerated powers where this power lies! I say that you, Obama, nor any other member of Congress can show me or any other American this because it isn't there! So, I know this sounds harsh, but something needs to be done to stop the wholesale trampling of our Constitution by our elected officials under the guise of "crisis"!

As my representative and an American, I am asking first, but demanding if I have to that:

1) You NOT support giving the fed, the treasury or the President any seizure powers of ANY business or personal property, but that you outright condemn such requests in public and to your colleagues in Congress and remind them that such powers are unconstitutional!

2) That you READ in it's entirety any bill that requires your vote and if you don't have the time to read said bill you demand adequate time to read it from the leadership and if that is not provided you must abstain from voting because of potential damage to the American taxpayer and country alike! An example of this was the "Stimulus" bill.

3) Go back and read the enumerated powers given to you as a United States Congressman in the Constitution and strictly follow them to the letter! By ignoring your Constitutional limits that were ratified by the states you are in direct violation, as is every other member of Congress, of the Constitution and your oath of office!

Rep. Delahunt, I think you are a good man, but if you refuse to work for the American taxpayer like myself by going outside the enumerated powers given you and continually expanding the size and power of government over us, the people, through more and more legislation that does nothing but enslaves us to the federal government I will hold you personally responsible for any legislation that does not directly benefit "We The People" who send you to Washington to work for "our" best interest. I am tired of our country being sold out from under us through crisis and special interests.

There is a backlash building for the people in Washington that will be felt in the 2010 mid term elections and in the states who don't adhere to the Constitution and the limits it places on government. The question is, what side of the backlash will you be on??

We as Conservatives talk about small government, less taxes. less spending, protection of rights and so on. Unfortunately, our only way back into control of the government is through the Republican party as it seems a third party won't even be given a real chance in this country. Here I read in the WSJ that Republicans that voted no for the Stimulus package and the Omnibus bill are now going back home and bragging about the money coming to their state and taking credit for it!! How hypocritical can you be? It is exactly this type of behavior that makes voters say, "Both parties are the same." and you know what with Republicans that want the money and spending as much as Democrats to keep getting re-elected, they're right! We need people in all stages of government who want to change the country for the better. Who want to get back to strict Constitutional guide lines and if they do that and they don't get re-elected then it's ok. This idea that keeping your office seat at all costs and you never get anything done has to stop! This was never meant to be a permanent career.So, in closing if we Conservatives want to regain the trust and power of control of government from the American people then we need to start acting like responsible adults. What this country needs, what this Conservative movement needs is real, honest leadership. So far I haven't seen it. Republicans could have taken out all the earmarks they proposed in the Omnibus bill and then put it to the democrats to do the same, but they didn't. Even Minority leader Rep. Boehner when asked directly by Fox news if the Republicans should pull their earmarks and use that as a rallying cry for fiscal responsibility and as a campaign plank for the mid term elections in 2010 just danced around it and gave the typical political double talk. Martha McCallum from Fox was obviously disgusted and just ended the interview after that answer. You see. moew interested in keeping his position than helping the country. This has to stop!

Basically someone who read Enemy of the Left said this, " I wouldn't take any blog serious that questioned Barack Obama's citizenship." There was more, but nothing of content.

Here is my response:

Well, sorry that you're so hypnotized by Obama that you wouldn't take seriously any blog that posts about the con man in chief not supplying his vault copy birth certificate. I know, it's really a crazy idea that we hold accountable candidates for the most powerful office in the world to PROVE their citizenship, something Obama has never done! Oh wait, I know he posted a "live birth certification" document on his own website that has been criticized by many for being a fraud and then another website (fightthesmears.com) that is affiliated with the Obama campaign, confirmed it. Well, all is ok now right? You're a fool. I say that not because you criticize me, but because you don't have the intelligence to question someone's past and their qualifications. What flavor kool aid did the local Obama campaign office give you? The Obama campaign is using you and all your ilk. They don't give a crap about you, me, the country or it's future. They only care about one thing, Tolatarian Power! You and the millions like you that were used up and will be spit out without a second glance by Obama after he no longer needs you like his own Grandmother, Tony Rezko, William Ayers, Rev. Wright to reach an end that helps him and only him. Wake up and do what is best for your country from this point on! Supporting an admitted Marxist is not in this countries best interest. Socialism/Communism has failed everywhere it's ever been tried. People like YOU will suffer the consequences of the tolatarian state Obama dreams of. He promotes "Change". He promotes "equality" and "fairness". He promotes stealing from the people who have ambition and the drive to produce and earn for themselves and he wants to give their property, their earnings to the lazy, stupid, and unmotivated who risk nothing therefore they have nothing to lose. The last two leaders who promoted such ideas were Castro in Cuba and Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. Their countries have performed wonderfully under Socialist/Communist rule haven't they? In one country people have been kept down in a morass of mediocrity with poor health care (no matter what Michael Moore says) and lack of ANY rights not approved by the state. It has been going so well there people have done anything to get out! I don't see Americans swimming to Cuba to escape freedom. Do you? In Chavez's "dream" country every "nationalized" industry has either slowed to a trickle or has stopped altogether because the people working them have NO incentive to work more because they earn the same no matter if they work themselves to the bone or sit on the asses all day. In Venezuela, Chavez has refused to put oil revenues back into maintenance and upgrading equipment. He has also given sweet heart oil deals to his "friends" around latin america while the people in his country starve! His only full price customer? The U.S. who he regularly insults and denounces capitolism. Chavez and his country missed the oil boom all together because of his lack of fore sight. Now is going to run for "President for Life" in the next election. I wonder if he'll win? Now Obama is touting the same B.S. anti capitalism, pie in the sky rhetoric as Castro, Chavez, Hitler, Stalin, Marx, and Lenin. We all now know how sucessful and fair and compassionate their reins and idealogies were don't we? How many did Stalin and his communist regime kill because they didn't agree with him or maybe because he just felt like killing them? 30? 50? 100 Million? The numbers increase all the time after new Stalinist atrocities are revealed. So you keep poo, pooing Obama and his refusal to produce hard evidence of his citizenship and his refusal to release his medical records and his refusal to release his college records. "Don't pay any attention to that man behind the curtin!" Keep the blinders on buddy. All is all right or should I say, all Left!

Cato Institute Economists take out full page ad in N.Y. Times telling Barack Obama his financial plan won't work.

The following is the exact wording of the Cato institute's full page ad that ran in the New York Times on January 30th, 2009 to send a message to President elect Barack Obama from the 207 under signed economists that spending was NOT the way out of our finacial crisis! So far these professionals advice had been ignored and the elected Democrat financial "experts" continue to plod along expanding government's control over our lives and freedom. Call them and let them know that you are NOT pleased and that you want less government, not more! A reduction in taxes both personal and for business is the only tactic that will create jobs and expand the economy and therefor increase tax flow into the government. The government can not create jobs no matter what ANY politician tells you! Business creates the jobs and right now our government is doing everything in it's power to keep global business away and to stop small businesses from opening! Obviously, common sense is not a prerequisite for elected office.

With all due respect Mr. President, that is not true.

Notwithstanding reports that all economists are now Keynesians and that we all support a big increase in the burden of government, we do not believe that more government spending is a way to improve economic performance. More government spending by Hoover and Roosevelt did not pull the United States economy out of the Great Depression in the 1930s. More government spending did not solve Japan's "lost decade" in the 1990s. As such, it is a triumph of hope over experience to believe that more government spending will help the U.S. today. To improve the economy, policy makers should focus on reforms that remove impediments to work, saving, investment and production. Lower tax rates and a reduction in the burden of government are the best ways of using fiscal policy to boost growth.

The real reason why our country is in chaos!

Economic collapse, giving mortgages to people who could never pay them back, more and more gov't spending without a way to pay for it. Where has common sense gone?

As Congress debates yet another "stimulus package" that just so happens to be full of pork for long time Democrat organizations and issues and hardly any stimulus for businesses in the U.S. You may be asking yourself why? Why hasn't Barack Obama denounced this new "stimulus" bill crafted by the democrats when he said time and again that he would sign NO Bill that had pork in it? Instead he is promoting it. In fact, he is saying he needs it NOW! Geez, where did we hear that before? Oh, I know the first stimulus bill for $700 Billion that is a total disaster with no positive effects at all!

Wondering why this is all happening? Wondering why the liberals and some Republicans just don't "get it" that another "stimulus package" isn't going to work. Well, please click on this link from the American Thinker and read James Simpson's article about The Cloward-Piven Strategy of Orchestrated Crisis and how it's being implemented now by the Democrats, and even some Republicans, even though unwittingly I suspect, to gain more and more power, more of your money and more control over your and your families. In short, they are using this strategy to finally introduce socialism here in America!

You will see the strategy of the treasonous left that wants a total socialist takeover of our country! They said the sky was falling in the initial $700 Billion stimulus package and after three weeks of delaying, nothing happened! After the first $350 Billion has been given away, nothing has changed! Except they don't know where the money is and now they want 1.2 Trillion more dollars of your money for what? How about this little tid bit, $4.2 Billion for the corrupt organization ACORN! They are being investigated in 14 states for voter fraud and corruption and Barack Obama wants us to ok 4.2 Billion dollars for them. Why? They are a PRIVATE, non profit corporation!!!! WHY?! What about $200 MILLION for contraceptives? $200 MILLION!!!!! Why? That has since been taken out, but why was it there to begin with? Economic stimulus?? The Democrats aren't taking this economic "crisis" seriously at all. If they were they would cut our income taxes, suspend tax on business to attract companies to move back here and employ our people! They would stop spending!! How can you stimulate an economy when you are drowning in debt? WAKE UP PEOPLE. THIS ISN'T A GAME! These treasonous fools in Congress are mortgaging your future, your kids, grand kids and great grand kids futures for their own idealogical and monetary gain! As we here have been telling you since the spring of 2008 the mainstream media has been in the tank for Barack Obama. Now there is a new documentary coming out soon called "Media malpractice... How Obama got elected" that now shows in an blatant honesty, like an abrupt slap in the face to end a bout of wild hysteria, how the Obama voter was lied to, influenced and kept in the dark to the history, quotes and the opinions of Barack Obama and his running mate by the Main stream media. The twelve Obama voters who were interviewed extensively for this documentary had just come out of the polls and were chosen because of their apparent intelligence and verbal skills as well as a willingness to express their opinions to a large audience. The documentaries website also states that they commisioned the Zogby organization to do a scientific poll with similar questions and got similar results. It has been a running indictment of Obama supporters during the election that they couldn't tell you one thing he had ever done. They couldn't tell you why he should be President, they just "felt" good about him. You will also notice the opposite here as some of the participants responded with disgust to Sarah Palin, the Republican Vice Presidential candidate who was unfairly attacked repeatedly. Of course, I have the feeling that Palin would wipe the floor with any or all of these people in a bout of wits. It is plain to see that their negative feelings for her have been generated from ongoing Media attacks that were repeated over and over again because of the great threat she posed to Obama.

Journalism died in 2008 with this election. Now reporters and columnists from these same mainstream news source are NOW coming out saying how "disgusting" all the media bias was for Barack Obama. Well, sorry. It's too little, too late. Your phony display of outrage and principle only highlight now how much in the tank you were for the Messiah and you will unsuccessfully try to regain your good name and your credibility. Real reporters and news people not only believe in the first amendment, but believe in the tradition of informing the people accurately. More importantly than probably anything else in the job of "real" news people is reporting the truth no matter how much you or your editors dislike it! The truth is king or WAS king to the press.

Well, this video is going across the world like wild fire and I hope all that watch it and who see what news sources these people cite when asked where they get their news from: CNN, NPR, PBS, MSNBC, The N.Y. Times, John Stewart?, and many more across the country and the world, never use them again for "news" because of the alarming lack of honesty. They purposely misled the American people who relied on them for honest stories and for the truth. Now hopefully, it will cost them their jobs when people no longer watch their stations or read their papers. Maybe their savior, Obama, will "bail" them out? I doubt it though.

I think the proposed "fairness" doctrine should include all the aforementioned news agencies, not just Conservative talk radio. At least with Conservative talk you get the truth. That's why the liberal democrats in Congress want it stopped, because the truth only hurts them and their agenda, but that's the story of a another blog entry.

A real reason to fear Barack Obama?

I found a story written by Selwyn Duke on the American Thinker website about exactly what I have been feeling about an Obama Presidency, especially when I heard about Obama's proposal of a "civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as the military". Why do we need such a force? Don't we already have the police both local and state? Don't we already have the National Guard? Don't we already have the Coast guard? Then what in the world would this Civilian national security force do? Where would they come from? That last question can be answered first. They would come from indoctrination camps set up all around the country that basically brainwash America's urban(for now) youth that America is a racist, oppressive place that needs "social change" theorized a September 4th 2008 editorial by the well respected and non partisan Investors business daily. The social change and leadership group Public Allies would provide the training of these proposed "social avengers". Both Barack and his wife Michelle have both had stints on the leadership board of public allies. Barack now wants "mandatory" volunteer service of youth between middle age and college age kids and retirees over 55. So how will his administration enforce such mandatory "volunteer service? Well, of the kids it will be part of their school requirements. Do it or you don't graduate. With seniors though how would they enforce that with people that don't work or work minimally? Well, it may go something like this. "So you refuse to "volunteer"? That is fine, but did you hear about the new Social security and/or the new medical requirements? No? Well this is what is now required of you if you want your SSI check or to be covered by medicare. You have to "volunteer" the minimum amount of hours or your benefits will be gone if you don't comply." I think Obama and his long time friend and new White house chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel who also touts "volunteer" service will have no problem trying to enact such a measure.

So what will be this civilian defense force's first act for Leader Obama? How about the enacting of the social change of "suspending" people's Second amendment right as well as the physical confiscation of people's firearms? Or Maybe it will be the "suspension" of the First Amendment? Don't you dare speak out against Obama or his liberal buddies! If you do it's off to the indoctrination camps with you. You already see the beginnings of this in the proposed re enaction of the "fairness" doctrine for talk radio. Liberals in Congress want equal time for liberal view points on privately owned radio stations even though liberal talk shows produce no ratings for the stations owners, in result of that no advertising revenue and that's why there isn't a solely liberal talk radio station in the country that either hasn't gone bankrupt or in the case of PBS needs public funds to continue operating. That doesn't matter though to the democrats. Of course newspapers and network television channels that are mainly liberal won't be effected. Just the one area that the democrats can't control, Conservative talk radio. I'll mention more on that subject later though. For now please click on the links above and check all this out for yourself. Of course, the public allies website denies what IBD states in their editorial, but why would IBD with such a reputation for being fair politically write something like this if they didn't smell the truth? You decide. If they are right the result will become clear to us all very soon!

Obama admits his belief of wealth re-distribution on a Chicago public radio station WBEZ. This is straight out of the Communist manifesto! He is saying that the Constitution says what the government can't do to you, but he believes there is an open door for government to "do" things for you because the Constitution doesn't mention what the government "can" do for you!

In his mind that is an opening for Marxism at it's purest. "To each according to his ability, TO each according to his needs." - Karl Marx. Take from the rich and give to the lazy, lay abouts that don't want to work so the government can have control over them and you!

Some of you have seen this from me before in an email form. I think Ayn Rand's philosophies on the U.S. Constitution are so important that I wanted to add it to my blog. This was a Mike Wallace special that aired in 1959. If people took her advice then we, as a country wouldn't be supporting a nanny state and in debt to other nations right now. It's never too late to learn though.

Ayn Rand. Ever heard of her?

She is a Russian immigrant who witnessed and was against the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917. She completely rejected the culture of collectivism in Russia at the time. It would evolve in communism shortly there after. .

When introduced to American history in her last year of high school, she immediately took America as her model of what a nation of free men could be. In 1925 she received permission from the Soviet Union to travel to America to visit relatives. She was determined to never go back.

She was a writer and philosopher who created the Objectivism theory, which held that the best thing for all people was to think of themselves first and not be other people's keepers. To let people be self sufficient and do away with the welfare state. On this she was so far ahead of her time it is uncanny.

I think it will shed light on an appreciation of the way the founders set up this country and why I have such respect for the Constitution. And why I am so outraged with the incorrect views of the politicians and the ignorant masses on how this country should be run, without any thought to the supreme law of the land, The Constitution. Examples of this are the willingness to let the servants (the politicians) rule the people instead of the other way around. By giving people money through welfare and entitlement programs for life without question therefore creating a "nanny" state and then creating a guaranteed voting block for the political party that supports giving the money to the idle. By getting involved militarily in other countries issues.

The Constitution was created in such a way that people could live their lives WITHOUT intrusion from the government. It was written to limit the power of the government and not the people! Today's federal government is a perverted leviathan with an insatiable hunger for your money to spend on ridiculous things. The first step to change is educating yourself to the way this country is supposed to be. Ayn Rand knew this...she tried to tell Americans over 50 years ago!!!

An open letter to the local daily paper, almost every local daily paper in America:

I remember reading All the President's Men and thinking: That's journalism. You do what it takes to get the truth and you lay it before the public, because the public has a right to know.

This housing crisis didn't come out of nowhere. It was not a vague emanation of the evil Bush administration.

It was a direct result of the political decision, back in the late 1990s, to loosen the rules of lending so that home loans would be more accessible to poor people. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were authorized to approve risky loans.

What is a risky loan? It's a loan that the recipient is likely not to be able to repay.

The goal of this rule change was to help the poor which especially would help members of minority groups. But how does it help these people to give them a loan that they can't repay? They get into a house, yes, but when they can't make the payments, they lose the house along with their credit rating.

They end up worse off than before.

This was completely foreseeable and in fact many people did foresee it. One political party, in Congress and in the executive branch, tried repeatedly to tighten up the rules. The other party blocked every such attempt and tried to loosen them.

Furthermore, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were making political contributions to the very members of Congress who were allowing them to make irresponsible loans. (Though why quasi-federal agencies were allowed to do so baffles me. It's as if the Pentagon were allowed to contribute to the political campaigns of congressmen who support increasing their budget.)

Isn't there a story here? Doesn't journalism require that you who produce our daily paper tell the truth about who brought us to a position where the only way to keep confidence in our economy was a $700 billion bailout? Aren't you supposed to follow the money and see which politicians were benefiting personally from the deregulation of mortgage lending?

I have no doubt that if these facts had pointed to the Republican Party or to John McCain as the guilty parties, you would be treating it as a vast scandal. "Housing-gate," no doubt. Or "Fannie-gate."

Instead, it was Sen. Christopher Dodd and Congressman Barney Frank, both Democrats, who denied that there were any problems, who refused Bush administration requests to set up a regulatory agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and who were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting subprime mortgage loans almost up to the minute they failed.

As Thomas Sowell points out in a TownHall.com essay entitled "Do Facts Matter?" (http://snipurl.com/457to): "Alan Greenspan warned them four years ago. So did the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers to the President. So did Bush's Secretary of the Treasury."

These are facts. This financial crisis was completely preventable. The party that blocked any attempt to prevent it was ... the Democratic Party. The party that tried to prevent it was ... the Republican Party.

Yet when Nancy Pelosi accused the Bush administration and Republican deregulation of causing the crisis, you in the press did not hold her to account for her lie. Instead, you criticized Republicans who took offense at this lie and refused to vote for the bailout!

What? It's not the liar, but the victims of the lie who are to blame?

Now let's follow the money ... right to the presidential candidate who is the number two recipient of campaign contributions from Fannie Mae.

And after Franklin Raines, the CEO of Fannie Mae who made $90 million while running it into the ground, was fired for his incompetence, one presidential candidate's campaign actually consulted him for advice on housing.

If that presidential candidate had been John McCain, you would have called it a major scandal and we would be getting stories in your paper every day about how incompetent and corrupt he was.

But instead, that candidate was Barack Obama, and so you have buried this story, and when the McCain campaign dared to call Raines an "adviser" to the Obama campaign because that campaign had sought his advice you actually let Obama's people get away with accusing McCain of lying, merely because Raines wasn't listed as an official adviser to the Obama campaign.

You would never tolerate such weasely nit-picking from a Republican.

If you who produce our local daily paper actually had any principles, you would be pounding this story, because the prosperity of all Americans was put at risk by the foolish, short-sighted, politically selfish and possibly corrupt actions of leading Democrats, including Obama.

If you who produce our local daily paper had any personal honor, you would find it unbearable to let the American people believe that somehow Republicans were to blame for this crisis.

There are precedents. Even though President Bush and his administration never said that Iraq sponsored or was linked to 9/11, you could not stand the fact that Americans had that misapprehension so you pounded us with the fact that there was no such link. (Along the way, you created the false impression that Bush had lied to them and said that there was a connection.)

If you had any principles, then surely right now, when the American people are set to blame President Bush and John McCain for a crisis they tried to prevent, and are actually shifting to approve of Barack Obama because of a crisis he helped cause, you would be laboring at least as hard to correct that false impression.

Your job, as journalists, is to tell the truth. That's what you claim you do, when you accept people's money to buy or subscribe to your paper.

But right now, you are consenting to or actively promoting a big fat lie that the housing crisis should somehow be blamed on Bush, McCain and the Republicans. You have trained the American people to blame everything bad even bad weather on Bush, and they are responding as you have taught them to.

If you had any personal honor, each reporter and editor would be insisting on telling the truth even if it hurts the election chances of your favorite candidate.

Because that's what honorable people do. Honest people tell the truth even when they don't like the probable consequences. That's what honesty means. That's how trust is earned.

Barack Obama is just another politician, and not a very wise one. He has revealed his ignorance and naivete time after time and you have swept it under the rug, treated it as nothing.

Meanwhile, you have participated in the borking of Sarah Palin, reporting savage attacks on her for the pregnancy of her unmarried daughter while you ignored the story of John Edwards' own adultery for many months.

So I ask you now: Do you have any standards at all? Do you even know what honesty means?

Is getting people to vote for Barack Obama so important that you will throw away everything that journalism is supposed to stand for?

You might want to remember the way the National Organization of Women (NOW) threw away their integrity by supporting Bill Clinton despite his well-known pattern of sexual exploitation of powerless women. Who listens to NOW anymore? We know they stand for nothing; they have no principles.

That's where you are right now.

It's not too late. You know that if the situation were reversed, and the truth would damage McCain and help Obama, you would be moving heaven and earth to get the true story out there.

If you want to redeem your honor, you will swallow hard and make a list of all the stories you would print if it were McCain who had been getting money from Fannie Mae, McCain whose campaign had consulted with its discredited former CEO, McCain who had voted against tightening its lending practices.

Then you will print them, even though every one of those true stories will point the finger of blame at the reckless Democratic Party, which put our nation's prosperity at risk so they could feel good about helping the poor, and lay a fair share of the blame at Obama's door.

You will also tell the truth about John McCain: that he tried, as a senator, to do what it took to prevent this crisis. You will tell the truth about President Bush: that his administration tried more than once to get Congress to regulate lending in a responsible way.

This was a Congress-caused crisis, beginning during the Clinton administration, with Democrats leading the way into the crisis and blocking every effort to get out of it in a timely fashion.

If you at our local daily newspaper continue to let Americans believe and vote as if President Bush and the Republicans caused the crisis, then you are joining in that lie.

If you do not tell the truth about the Democrats including Barack Obama and do so with the same energy you would use if the miscreants were Republicans then you are not journalists by any standard.

You're just the public relations machine of the Democratic Party, and it's time you were all fired and real journalists brought in, so that we can actually have a daily newspaper in our city.

No Auto Industry Bailouts!

US Congress and Secretary Paulson,

A free market is a market in which property rights are voluntarily exchanged at a price arranged completely by the mutual consent of sellers and buyers. If the seller, or the buyer, finds that a business decision has less than desirable consequences, we believe it is the responsibility of the party involved to find a solution to the problem.

Forcing taxpayers to pay for bad business decisions is not the solution. Nor is it the American way.

When our elected officials choose to spend our money in an effort to interfere with the free market system, without our direct consent, we strongly consider it to be an act that is against the will of the American people.

If you vote to inject taxpayer dollars in to the private sector to bail businesses out of the result of bad decisions, clearly, you are voting against the American foundations of free markets. We, the people, did not get them into this mess and we should not be responsible for getting them out.

I demand the Congress and Secretary Paulson act AGAINST any and all bail outs of the private sector. We understand that the argument for this bail out is that it will ultimately be cheaper than if jobs were lost in this economy. However, the question needs to be asked, "Where will this stop?"

If you support this, I will do everything in my power to remove you from office before you can give away any more of our money to failed businessmen.

Reid & Pelosi urge bailout of GM and possibly others.

Enough is enough. GM wants another 25 Billion dollars?!! They come with their hands out again after getting their first 25 Billion snuck under the radar while the public was blinded by the 700 Billion credit bailout. So that wasn't enough so they convince the Democrat "leaders" of Congress that they have to have this money now or they'll go under. Ford and Chrysler are also reporting major losses and it will be only a matter of time until they come a calling on Joe six pack yet again. Pelosi and Reid sent Treasury Secretary Paulson a letter asking him to "review the feasibility . . . of providing temporary assistance to the automobile industry during the current financial crisis." Temporary? Will they ever pay back the first $25 Billion? Probably not, and now they want more? Well, as things stand now I say NO!

The big three have had years, since the early 70's actually to respond to the on going threat of competition from foreign auto manufacturers that frankly made cars cheaper and of better quality and they have done nothing but produce commercials saying they are equal to these Japanese imports while they continually give in to union demands that have driven their prices up so far that many Americans can't afford to buy a pick up truck anymore. A friend of mine recently (before the credit crunch hit) bought a Ford F150 extended cab for over $40 thousand dollars!!! It's a f***king pick up truck and they wonder why no one was buying new vehicles even before the bailout mess and even before gas went to $4.00?? The big three have priced themselves out of the market and to make it worse on them people's view of them still are lower quality then Japanese imports.

So now, not only do the big three charge outrageous prices for their vehicles, their vehicles get terrible gas mileage when we all know the technology is out there to increase that without loss of power, their vehicles resale value is awful, and now they want US, the little guy that they have NO respect for to come to their rescue?! NO WAY!!
So you say, "But they employ around 2 Million people. What about them?"
Well, OK. This is where I would turn the other cheek, but with conditions. So you want the U.S. to bail you out GM, Ford and Chrysler?

Here are my terms:

1) All money is to be paid back in full to the American people with a fair interest rate to be determined by the Tresury Secretary over 30 years. Such money will be kept in an interest baring account that would NOT be part of the general fund and would be paid out directly to all living tax payers in the form of a tax free rebate check when loan is paid in full.

2) All CEO's are to be fired with no golden parachutes. All CFO's will now be in charge until after the crisis has passed and then the share holders will vote in another CEO. There must be at least three candidates, one of them not currently in the leadership structure.

3) All union membership will now be null and void and will not be allowed to reform in the auto industry again so that the U.S. car companies can make a decent profit so that this will never happen again and more importantly the U.S. auto makers will bring the price of all new vehicles down to reasonable prices so everyday people can afford to buy a new car without a majority of their money going to a car payment each month therefore boosting the economy. The National guard will be deployed to make sure that all employees can report to work without issue. Any employee that decides to strike with the union will be terminated and replaced with Americans that are now unemployed.

4) A fair wage, hours and employee/company paid medical insurance will be provided to all employees. All employees will be employed no less than 40 hours per week. Only then will more employees be hired. Employee welfare will be checked periodically to make sure no employer is taking advantage or intimidating employees.

5) All automakers will now discontinue all business ventures with foreign companies to make component parts for "American" vehicles. All parts for said vehicles will be made in the U.S. only by either the automaker or an American company within the U.S. All parts and assembly will be made and take place in the U.S. for export vehicles as well. It's time to take care of our own country first.

6) U.S. automakers will now start in earnest to increase gas mileage of ALL cars and trucks while keeping emissions at present levels or below. U.S. automakers will also begin in earnest starting to design and mass produce alternative energy vehicles by 2015.

7) All employees in high level management positions will be required to take a 50% pay cut. All employees in mid level management positions will be required to take a 30% pay cut and all union employees who are union employees on or before the date this bill takes effect will be required to take a 25% pay cut. All other non union employees will not be required to cut their pay at all.

8) The U.S. will provide an additional 10 Billion dollars above the requested 25 Billion to GM if needed in this transition period to be paid back using the above stated terms.

Following these mandates will not only help GM and the American automakers financially, it will help the regular American to be able to buy a vehicle and therefore boost the economy. Breaking the unions from the auto industry will be the most difficult part, but when members realize they have no other choice and they are lucky to still have a job things will calm down.

Response to Obama winning the American Presidency.

I have been warning you all for months about how dangerous and anti American this man really is. I have given you proof in the way of news stories that were not reported on by the main stream liberal media. I have given you Obama's direct quotes damning himself and yet it looks like he will be our next President. Well, I will never consider a man that has ties to terrorists, ties to radical Islam, Ties to radical black liberation theology, Ties and shared beliefs with socialism/Marxism, a severe lack of experience, and believes in all stages of infanticide as My President.

The huge amount of voters in this country that have voted for this fraud have only confirmed one of three things or maybe all three.
1) Yes, The American people are really THAT stupid and ignorant, thanks to public school educations run by the liberal dept. of education for years that don't teach history, civics or country pride anymore.
2) People want the gov't to run their lives for them and take no responsibility for themselves or their futures. 3) The U.S. Constitution no longer matters to most of the people of this country.

Well, to all of you people that voted for Obama even after hearing all the warnings I and others have given you all I have to say is this: You will now get what you have asked for!
Higher taxes, more state financed and approved abortion, The return of Welfare for do nothing layabouts, Radical leftist judges nominated for the Supreme court that will be with us for the next 40 years or so creating law from the bench and pushing their liberal agenda, citizenship, welfare and drivers licenses for illegal aliens, weakening of the military, ties with Arabic countries that support terrorism, the weakening of ties to Israel because the other Arab countries don't like it. How does that make sense for our country? It doesn't and all this was right in front of your eyes if you just opened them.

How does it feel to be conned America? Well, I have some advice for you now that you have decided to throw away all semblance of rational thinking. Look at your pay check now and write down exactly what you pay in taxes. Federal, state, medicare, SSI, etc. Then check them 6 months to a year from now. Keep doing that through this Obama Presidency. We'll see if he keeps his promise that 95% of Americans gets a "tax cut". Some how I have a feeling he won't. I have the nagging feeling that Obama will now go back on all his statements of conservative beliefs and will go back to his form of radical liberalism. He will now be the rubber stamp to the other radical leftists that run Congress and you and I will pay the price, not them!

So, let me say it again. I don't consider him my President. You people that have voted for this disgrace of a man, this charade of an American, are to blame for whatever happens from 1/20/09 on!! No more can you blame the Conservatives for anything as the liberals now have all the power. I will continue to take note and report on this Obamanation through my blog.

The majority of American people have now lost my respect. If you voted for this man, no longer stand up and place your hand over your heart when the National Anthem is played. Don't bother celebrating Independence day on July 4th anymore. Beware Charismatic Men Who Preach "Change"

Each year I get to celebrate Independence Day twice. On June 30 I celebrate my independence day and on July 4 I celebrate America's. This year is special, because it marks the 40th anniversary of my independence.

On June 30, 1968, I escaped Communist Cuba and a few months later I was in the United States to stay. That I happened to arrive in Richmond on Thanksgiving Day is just part of the story, but I digress.

I've thought a lot about the anniversary this year. The election-year rhetoric has made me think a lot about Cuba and what transpired there. In the late 1950s, most Cubans thought Cuba needed a change, and they were right. So when a young leader came along, every Cuban was at least receptive.

When the young leader spoke eloquently and passionately and denounced the old system, the press fell in love with him. They never questioned who his friends were or what he really believed in. When he said he would help the farmers and the poor and bring free medical care and education to all, everyone followed. When he said he would bring justice and equality to all, everyone said "Praise the Lord." And when the young leader said, "I will be for change and I'll bring you change," everyone yelled, "Viva Fidel!"

But nobody asked about the change, so by the time the executioner's guns went silent the people's guns had been taken away. By the time everyone was equal, they were equally poor, hungry, and oppressed. By the time everyone received their free education it was worth nothing. By the time the press noticed, it was too late, because they were now working for him. By the time the change was finally implemented Cuba had been knocked down a couple of notches to Third-World status. By the time the change was over more than a million people had taken to boats, rafts, and inner tubes. You can call those who made it ashore anywhere else in the world the most fortunate Cubans. And now I'm back to the beginning of my story.

Luckily, we would never fall in America for a young leader who promised change without asking, what change? How will you carry it out? What will it cost America?

Stop history from repeating itself!!

Please watch this 2:49 video below of a letter to the editor of the Richmond times dispatch from a Cuban American about "Change". It gives you the point of view from someone who lived through the kind of "Change" that was meant to "help" the people and what really happens when you try to make everyone "equal" and when the people realize it's too late to stop it.

Some people say that the things I post about Obama are too negative and they are meant to scare people into not voting for him. On both counts that is true, but it's not me these email's are about. They are negative because they are based on Obama's own words, actions and associations. Peeling the onion skin's layers off if you will. They are meant to scare you so you will wake up before it's too late!

This man is at best a socialist by his own admission. His theories are based on Karl Marx's own writings and philosophies. Wealth redistribution, the people working for the good of the "state", class warfare, nationalizing of the banks, nationalizing the agricultural industry, nationalizing of the energy corporations, open borders between countries. All of these things have been spoken of in eloquent terms by Obama and his liberal counter parts in the Congress. They were all also included in Marx's "Communist manifesto". and his ten pillars of communism.

How as an American can it not be wrong, that a Presidential candidate has the same values as the man that created the concept of communism?? The same ideology that has imprisoned people in their own countries so they couldn't leave. That killed or imprisoned people for speaking out against the government. An ideology that has driven everyone that has ever lived under it into pathetic mediocrity. The same ideology that tens if not hundreds of thousands of American soldiers died fighting against in Korea, Vietman and the cold war! How is it ok again to elect a man that embodies all the concepts these men fought and died for and who is also in direct opposition with our Constitution and our rights??

What is really scary is that there are millions of blind followers out there of this man who have no idea what he is about because they don't know history! Well, they'll find out soon enough if he is elected.

Let me ask you these two questions:

1) Has there ever been a society that has followed Marx's idealistic theories that has succeeded in uplifting the people?

2) How many people have tried sneaking INTO the Soviet Union, North Korea, Cuba, North Vietnam, East Germany, Venezuela, China, the Soviet controlled eastern block countries on rafts, planes, trains, foot trails, roads? The answer is zero!

Ask yourself this: If socialism/communism is so great and it works so well then why does everyone living under it want to escape it?

Barack Obama is being sued by people in two different states Pennsylvania and Washington to disclose his "original" birth certificate. He refuses as of now. His campaign did put a copy of one from 2007. It has been reported that this copy certificate is a forgery. Obama also refuses produce his medical records or any of his college records. Why is that? Maybe because they show that he was really a Kenyan citizen like his father? Watch this video from an online video production company and pay attention. It is only 10 minutes and 52 seconds long. Why isn't any of the main stream media reporting this and calling for an investigation before the election? You know why. The Constitution means nothing to them. I will be adding more on this in the next few days.

Here is also another web page from newsbusters.org that shows that Obama's own campaign admits he was a Kenyan citizen! Kenya didn't recognize duel citizenship's in the 60's for adults and in children duel citizenship automatically expires when you are 21 if the person in question doesn't renounce the other countries citizenship or they have to swore an oath of allegiance to Kenya. According to his own web site Obama did neither. Therefore admitting he was a Kenyan citizen. Obama's Kenyan citizenship automatically expired in 1982. So maybe they don't realize that someone who once gave up U.S. citizenship to become a Kenyan citizen is no longer a "Natural Born citizen". Obama would have to have gone through U.S. immigration and then he would be considered a "Naturalized" citizen. If he didn't do that then that means he used a Kenyan or Indonesian passport to get back in the country when he travels abroad!

Even with no Acorn provision the bailout is not a done deal yet

The Cyrpt blog from the Politico.com is reporting that the House Republicans have hammered out a compromise deal with Democrats. I am still not with this bailout though. It really should be all insurance based and that's what the Republicans were trying to fight for. They won only a limited version of that, but in only a small victory for the American people the Republicans got the ACORN provision taken out of the new draft of this aweful bill! See the Crypt's story here. Acorn is a corrupt organization that masks itself as a housing entity, but in reality it has worked tirelessly for the Socialist/ Democrat party since the 70's! Their members have been arrested and prosecuted for voter registration manipulation. Fraudulently registering illegal aliens, people with felonies, and already deceased people! Funny how the original $100 Million add on just happened to be thrown in when Barack Obama became involved with the bailout negotiations. Obama was an organizer and also the legal representative for Acorn for years! Of course this will never come up on the main stream media. At least we can all thank God that the Republicans are at least trying to look out for us the best they can. This deal is also no a sure thing. Republican Rep. Cantor(VA) is questioning the new draft and Republican Rep. Mike Pence(Indiana)is now coming out against the new draft all together. See that story here. Thank God someone is looking out for the Constitution!
I don't believe that the world will end and everyone will lose their jobs if this bill gets rejected. Let's let these companies die as well as the bad loans they own and then let's see where the chips lie in the end.

Lying Pelosi Playing Partisan Politics Again!

Speaker of the House out and out lied in an interview about crafting mortgage bailout legislation on Capitol hill a short time ago. She said that the House Republicans were "Unpatriotic" for not showing up for earlier meetings on the legislation. The facts are they were excluded from those meetings by the Democrats! Senator Chris Dodd -D said on NBC that they "forgot" to invite them. OK.
I have had great distain for Speaker Nancy Pelosi for years now and this just takes the cake! How stupid does she think the American people are? The House Republicans are the only ones standing up for regular Americans. It's bad enough that they haven't rejected this bail out entirely as unconstitutional, but now the Democrats are using this issue to play politics to make themselves look better?! How much of a crisis can this really be if they are doing stuff like this? Oh, did I tell you that this "crisis" that they want to spend $700 Billion of YOUR dollars "fixing" right away also includes money for special interest groups and political contributors? Getting rid of such pork is just one reason the House republicans are holding this legislation up. Another is that the Democrats want a partnership stake in any company they "help".

"House Republicans are fighting to ensure the economic rescue bill doesn’t give a blank check to Wall Street at the expense of taxpayers on Main Street. But House Republicans are also fighting for the removal of pork-barrel provisions added to the working draft of the bill by Democrats for the benefit of special-interest groups and political contributors. Who else stands to benefit?

TRIAL LAWYERS – Instead of investigating the scandal-plagued American trial lawyer industry, the Democratic Congress has showed it in pork, tucking special benefits into major bills to benefit the industry at the expense of American taxpayers – and the economic rescue bill has been no exception. Working drafts of the bill include so-called 'cramdown' provisions allowing bankruptcy judges to reduce mortgage principal under the guise of helping those at risk of foreclosure. If enacted into law, the provision would be a bonanza for trial lawyers and undercut the effectiveness of any economic recovery effort by making it even harder to value mortgage-backed securities.

WASHINGTON LABOR BOSSES – Washington’s powerful big labor bosses – another special-interest constituency closely aligned with the Democratic Party – also get a big handout in the working draft of the bailout bill. So-called “say on pay” or “proxy access” provisions have been added to the bill by Democrats proposing to mandate a nonbinding shareholder vote on proxy access and other issues for all companies in which the Treasury Department buys a direct stake in certain assets. The proposal can and should include restrictions on executive compensation for participating firms in a responsible manner without allowing Washington labor bosses to have an undue say on corporate governance at the expense of American workers and their prosperity.

ACORN – The draft bill includes a left-wing giveaway that would force taxpayers to bankroll a slush fund for a discredited ally of the Democratic Party. At issue is the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now – better known as ACORN – an organization fraught with controversy for, among other scandals, its fraudulent voter registration activities on behalf of Democratic candidates. Rather than returning any profits made in the long-term from the economic rescue package, Democrats want to first reward their radical allies at ACORN for their (often illegal) help in getting Democrats elected to office. Families, seniors, small businesses, and all American taxpayers deserve better.

MORTGAGE INDUSTRY BAD ACTORS – The draft of the bill includes “foreclosure mitigation” provisions that essentially establish a preference for purchasing assets with the goals of modifying or restructuring loans. House Republicans believe the goal of the rescue legislation should be to stabilize the markets and protect taxpayers – NOT to use taxpayer dollars to identify assets to purchase in order to improve loan workouts. Congress has already enacted one irresponsible housing bailout to deal with the mess created by the Democrats’ refusal to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. We don’t need another.

Mortgage Bailout. Unconstitutional Socialism

I have said many times that I'm a Constitutionalist. I believe that too many times the Constitution, one of this countries and the worlds most important and influential documents,(second only to maybe the Bible and Declaration of Independence), gets stepped on with much regularity today. Politicians, like the President, take an oath to uphold the Constitution and protect it and the country from enemies both foreign and domestic. Unfortunately though, it is an after, after thought now to see if some proposed legislation is indeed Constitutional and stays within it's guidelines. Many times the legislators and even the people the Constitution protects don't want to hear that said legislation won't pass Constitutional muster. All they see is either a convenient and easy solution to a problem or maybe a financial windfall that would be an after effect of this new proposal. Forget about the potential victims that this new legislation would create as long as the politicians only do as little work as possible to look like a "Hero" to voters. Ignorant politicians, special interest groups, and even regular everyday people tell you that everything they are fighting for or believe in is "in" the Constitution. I'm still waiting to see where abortion, or as I prefer to call it in most cases, the murder of a baby for the sake of convenience and irresponsibility, is listed in the Bill of Rights. Oh yeah, it's not! That's a whole other story though that would go under the listing "Judges creating law from the bench." Abortion rights, gay rights, illegal aliens rights, right to housing, rights to "be" happy, welfare payment rights, education rights, and on and on. Those are not rights written into the Constitution. Sorry. You have the right to "pursue happiness". You don't have the right to "be happy" no matter what your definition of happiness is.

The lack of historical teachings in this country over the past 30 years has produced people who have no idea what the Constitution means to them and the protections and rights it allows. Let alone what led to it's creation.

When it comes to bailing out privately or even quasi public corporations for any reason it is supremely unconstitutional. This is a capitalistic society and it has been so from the time that the Pilgrims landed in Plymouth, Massachusetts. In this country you have the freedom to pursue happiness and if that means you want to start a business and make money and that makes you happy, then that's great! As you have the freedom to succeed in this country you also have the freedom to fail here as well through your own actions. No where in the Constitution did the founders of this great country write in a safety net for people who screw up in life. If you had such a need to be "bailed out" financially it would usually be left to private charities such as your church or community group to come together and help you get back on your feet.

The rest of the tax payers in this country shouldn't be expected to pay for the losses of private companies no matter what the reason. When these companies make a profit do we tax payers receive a cash windfall from them? No. So why should we be on the hook for their screw ups or corrupt business dealings? I know this will sound harsh, but this also goes for people that are now in trouble with their mortgages due to them not reading the fine print at closing or not hiring a lawyer to protect them in the closing as well. If you sign on the dotted line and you find later on that the terms of your mortgage aren't what you thought then that is a shame, but it's your fault. Like the old saying goes, "Buyer beware". The only exception to this is if the mortgage holder changes the terms of the loan without your approval. This has happened, and then the homeowner has the law behind them to correct this.

So as you can probably tell from this blog entry I am not for the bailout being debated on Capitol hill now. They say that the financial markets will fall and everyone will be out of work and companies won't be able to pay their employees because they won't be able to get credit. Why is that so? What company uses credit to pay their employees? If you're not taking in enough money each week to pay your employees then maybe you shouldn't have any! We have become much too reliant on credit. Credit cards and debit cards. Cash is too cumbersome, too slow, as the ad for Mastercard portrays. Everything runs smooth as silk if you use your credit card, but once people break out the cash or a check then forget it, all hell breaks loose. People actually have to wait behind you for an extra minute!! Oh, say it ain't so! An extra minute waiting behind a guy who has to write on a piece of paper or God forbid actually count out bills? What is the world coming to?

In this me first, instant gratification, everybody has to be equal and no one's feelings are to be hurt country, we now see what our world has come to. A country of people who don't take responsibility for themselves and their failures both corporate and personal. Maybe we need to go back to a currency backed by gold and use the cash and barter system? Everyone learns a trade and you trade with other people for goods and services if you can't pay in gold backed cash? Maybe we should start by doing what's best for the country first instead of the government enacting a socialist mega program that is a giant tax and power grab to bail out private corporations in the name of a national emergency?

Our politicians, especially Rep. Barney Frank, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senator Harry Reid, Senator Chris Dodd, ex President Clinton and ex President Carter have certainly made the father of Communism, Karl Marx very proud. All of them and many more have worked tirelessly advancing the Communist agenda with the fair housing issue. Forcing mortgage companies to offer giant mortgages to people that they knew could never pay them back. They did this with the guarantee that the federal government would insure these bad loans. Maybe I'm wrong and this may sound out there to some of you, but I think this was planned. I think they knew this was going to happen and they ignored the warning signs, especially Frank and Dodd. Now we are supposed to believe that coincidentally it turns out that the government is poised to enact the biggest expansion of itself and the biggest power grab in our countries history. The best part for them is that they get all the power over these companies and the people who hold these bad loans if they haven't been evicted yet, and we, the common people get to pay for all of it through increased taxes. That's all right though because what's best is the well being of the state, um I mean the country. Yeah, that's it.

If you get a chance read the Communist manifesto sometime. You'll see what I'm talking about after that and how you can compare it with the Democrat party and all their "social engineering".

Let me ask you something else while I'm on this topic. There were Communist agents really caught in this country throughout the years. Spies if you will. There is even a group called CPUSA whose job it was to advance Communism through the U.S.

Listed below are Marx's 10 Pillars of Communism. Start with these and then tell me you don't see a connection between this and the Democrat agenda in Washington today. Pay attention especially to #2 and #5 in context with the mortgage "crisis".

1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. (means people trying to leave or stand against the state)

5. Centralization of credit in the banks of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.

6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the state.

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

8. Equal obligation of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country.

10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc.

First against free speech, now Obama goes for the 2nd Amendment too!

Barack Obama is SO transparent it's laughable. First, as I stated in my last blog entry, he wants to lock people up for exercising their 1st amendment rights because they are telling people the truth about him and his past. Now, he has once again made it very clear that he would like to take people's guns away from them if he could at a speech in Duryea, Pennsylvania at the Schott glass factory! The Wall Street Journal reported this on the same day in the form of a short article.
According to the article a woman in the hand picked crowd threw Obama a curve and asked if he had a plan to ban guns if he got elected? Obama responded with his standard campaign line that he respects the "traditions" of gun ownership, but favored measures to keep guns out of the hands of "drug dealers and gang bangers" in big cities who, according to Obama “already have them and are shooting people.” He went on to say "If you’ve got a gun in your house, I’m not taking it." He then saw skepticism on the faces of the crowd, especially from some of the men in the back. Noticing he was now in trouble with the crowd he tried again to convince them that their 2ND amendment rights would still be intact if he got elected by saying "Even if I want to take them away, I don’t have the votes in Congress. This can’t be the reason not to vote for me. Can everyone hear me in the back? I see a couple of sportsmen back there. I’m not going to take away your guns."
And the Washington D.C. gun ban wasn't unconstitutional either right Barack?

So, let me get this straight, the Second Amendment isn't a right of the American people written into the Constitution to protect the country from foreign enemies as well as and more importantly, an oppressive government, it's a "tradition"?
I think you know the answer to that, but in case you don't read here. Also, if law biding people have guns to protect themselves or for sport those guns will automatically end up in the hands of criminals? I will admit that some if not most of the guns that criminals have are stolen. They are criminals are they not? This is where the insanity comes in. Does Obama and the rest of the Democrats in this country really believe that if they enact more gun control laws or out and out gun bans for law abiding citizens, the criminals will no longer be able to get guns? Of course not. This isn't about keeping the guns out of the hands of criminals, that is a fear tactic. This is about disarming the population so they can have more and more control over this countries citizens! What recourse do you have under a tyrannical government if you have no way to over throw said government? You have no recourse. The founders of our country knew this and that's the main reason they wrote and approved the Second Amendment! They were afraid of the government getting too big and too powerful! That's why the Bill of Rights were written in the first place.

Obama was being misleading when he denied that his handwriting had been on a document endorsing a state ban on the sale and possession of handguns in Illinois. Obama responded, "No, my writing wasn't on that particular questionnaire. As I said, I have never favored an all-out ban on handguns."
Actually, Obama's writing was on the 1996 document, which was filed when Obama was running for the Illinois state Senate. A Chicago nonprofit, Independent Voters of Illinois, had this question, and Obama took hard line:

35. Do you support state legislation to:
a. ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns? Yes.
b. ban assault weapons? Yes.
c. mandatory waiting periods and background checks? Yes.

Obama's campaign said, "Sen. Obama didn't fill out these state Senate questionnaires--a staffer did--and there are several answers that didn't reflect his views then or now. He may have jotted some notes on the front page of the questionnaire, but some answers didn't reflect his views."

Yeah, right. This man will say anything to get elected. That is not unusual with politicians. The only thing is either he is too stupid to remember the stands he has taken on critical subjects in the past or he thinks we're too stupid to be able to look back and find out where he stood. Sorry Obama, we're not that dumb!

If Obama gets in expect the Democrat Congress to repeal the Second Amendment and then what's next? Well, massive country wide gun confiscation. They will do this in the name of safety and to keep the guns out of the hands of criminals so they can better "protect you".

After a failed attempt to strong arm TV stations around the country to stop running a anti Obama ad, the Barack Obama campaign has called on the U.S. Dept. of Justice to begin a criminal investigation into the non profit 501(c)4 organization the American Issues Project and it's officers, board of directors and it's donors calling for the investigation and Prosecution (Jail time in other words! Can you say Communist free speech oppression tactics? I knew you could.) of those responsible for anti Obama TV ad. Why? Because A.I.P. produced and released the ad showing his relationship with William Ayers, the domestic terrorist that was a founding member of the weather underground organization. In the 60's and 70's this group was responsible for the bombings of several federal buildings, including the Capitol building and the Pentagon! As well as police stations and a failed plot to bomb an officers dance at Fort Dix that would have killed not only military members (like that's not bad enough). Well, the truth is now starting to finally being looked into by the mainstream media. They are dragging their feet though and kicking and screaming the whole way. They don't want to write anything bad about the "enlightened one" whether it's the truth or not. The real kicker against Obama here is that his campaign (like John Kerry with the Swiftboat ad people in 2004) hasn't denied anything in the ad because it's all true! Funny how facts get in the way isn't it? The Obama campaign has now started trying to smear National Review investigative journalist Stanley Kurtz for going on the Milt Rosenberg radio show in Chicago and talking about the Obama/Ayers connection. When the phone lines lit up with listeners complaining about Kurtz and that he was "Making all this up" he started reading on air, verbatim from documents obtained, after initially refusing to release them, from the University of Illinois - Chicago where Ayers teaches and is the school that hosted the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), a $160 million publicly funded school reform effort led by, among others, Barack Obama and Bill Ayers who both sat on the board, from 1995 until the end of 2001. It was later revealed on the show that Rosenberg's call screener found the root of the flood of calls: An pro-Obama website that claimed that Kurtz is trying to smear Obama and that the campaign won’t allow the “swiftboating” that happened to Kerry, so they gave the show info (call-in number, time, etc) and suggested that people flood the switchboard with negative calls. Unbelievable, these people are all nuts! Don't speak the negative truth about the "saviour". No, No, No.

I knew the main stream media would never willfully cover this story and I asked everyone to pass that email on to start a grass roots movement against Obama and his anti American supporters. American terrorists William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn- This husband and wife were notorious anti American agitators that were founding members of the domestic terrorist group the Weathermen or as it was later known the Weather underground organization. This group was formed in 1969 because of a split in the group "Students for a democratic society" (SDS) in Chicago. The Weathermen were initially part of the Revolutionary Youth Movement (RYM) within the SDS, splitting from the RYM's Maoists by claiming there was no time to build a vanguard party and that revolutionary war against the United States government and the capitalist system should begin immediately. Their founding document called for the establishment of a "white fighting force" to be allied with the "Black Liberation Movement" and other "anti-colonial " movements to achieve "the destruction of US imperialism and the achievement of a classless world and world communism. Ayers and Dohrn hosted a political coming out party for Obama when he ran for Senate. Ayers donated $200 to Obama's Presidential campaign. From the N.Y. Sun 2/2008: "Ayers and Mr. Obama served together on the nine-member board of the Woods Fund, a Chicago nonprofit, for three years beginning in 1999, and they have also appeared jointly on two academic panels, one in 1997 and another in 2001. Mr. Ayers, who was never convicted in the Weather Underground bombings, is now a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago."

Ayers and Dohrn are proud of their violent past and Ayers says he didn't set enough bombs. Their main goal was to sabotage the US gov't. Through violence and bombs. Here is a list of events that Ayers and Dohrn's group are responsible for while they were members:
10/7/69: Bombing of Haymarket Police Statue in Chicago, as "kickoff" for the "Days of Rage" riots

10/8/69: "Days of Rage" riots in Chicago in which 287 Weatherman members were arrested and a large amount of property damage was done

10/6/69: Bombing of Chicago Police cars. The Weathermen stated in their book "Prairie Fire" that they did the explosion.

12/27/69: Weathermen hold "War Council" where they finalize plans to submerge into an underground status from which they plan to commit strategic acts of sabotage against the government. Thereafter they are called the "Weather Underground Organization" WUO. Dohrn raised three fingers in a "fork salute" to CHARLES MANSON, whom she proposed as a revolutionary inspiration. "Dig it," said Dohrn at the time. "First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, they even shoved a fork into a victim's stomach! Wild!"

1969: Ayers attempted to extort money from the Vietnam Moratorium Committee -- demanding $20,000 to abstain from violence during a planned peace protest. After rejecting this demand, a member of the Moratorium group asked Ayers what he really wanted. "To kill all rich people," Ayers responded. When another peace activist pointed out that Ayers himself came from wealth, he answered: "Bring the war home. Kill your parents."

Dohrn plea-bargained to charges of inciting to mob action and resisting police officers. She was sentenced to three years' probation and a $1,500 fine.

9/11/2001: "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough." So, would Mr. Ayers do it all again, he is asked? "I don't want to discount the possibility," he said. Ayers quoted in NYT article.

After all that Obama still thought it was ok to associate himself with him!

Pelosi and Pickens Exposed!!!

Well, there seems to have been some major revelations about Nancy Pelosi since the last time I wrote about how she and the dems left for their 5 weeks paid vacation. I admire the Republicans that stayed there on the darkened House floor day after day making speeches to anyone who would listen. They pulled in aides and tourists and the new Republican revolution as the called it was gaining momentum to the dismay of democrats who have been feeling the pressure from their constituents to vote for new drilling. The Republicans there that refused to leave had no way to get the message out of what was happening on the house floor except by using mobile communication devices such as text messaging by way of a blackberry device or cell phone. They started calling the #dontgomovement. The people that really started this movement and subsequent website, http://dontgomovement.com/ have been a thorn in the side of Madam Speaker and have now exposed what seems to be a fraudulent scheme on her part to milk the American people of billions of dollars all in the name of "saving the planet".

Dontgo has learned that she and her husband bought stock at a "pre sale" price in oilman, T Boone Pickens company CLNE. According to a SEC filing she may have purchased 22,000 shares of the stock at a mere $3.86 a share! Why is that a big deal? Well, it's because the Initial public offering was set at $14.00 a share! That means she knew something before the IPO was offered and knew someone who sold her "husband" the stock. Read the whole story here.

Ok. Why is this a big deal other than possible insider trading violations? CLNE or Clean Energy Fuel Corp is Boone's vehicle to try and milk billions out of the American tax payer using their well intentioned desire to get away from the use of fossil fuels. California (Pelosi's home state) has a ballot inititive this fall called Proposition 10 or as it's known there as the California Renewable Energy and Clean Alternative Fuel Act. It would call for $5 billion in California bond money – $10 billion by the time the interest is paid, according to the L.A. Times – to promote natural gas as an cleaner alternative for automobile and truck fuel. Here's the rub. CLNE is the largest supplier of natural gas for vehicles in the U.S. by the way. CLNE has also contributed $3,247,250 to supporting Proposition 10's passage. I wonder why??

Can you say "Mo Money" for T Boone and Nazi Pelosi? I knew you could. Prop 10 is just the beginning though. Nancy and T Boone's real plan is to promote and set into motion the adoption of alternative energies in place of oil, namely wind power in the southwest for now. That sounds all well and good until you realize that it takes many wind turbines to create the same amount of energy of a gas, coal, oil or nuclear electricity generating plant. His original idea though was to set himself up as the lone provider of fresh water for Texas communities to start with by creating water districts and building a water pipeline and then selling the water to drought prone cities and towns. He has invested over $100 million dollars to acquire right of ways in 12 communities in Texas to build his pipeline. He has had no takers as of yet because cities don't need the water yet and there is a major resentment for a water profiteer.

Getting back to the wind power idea, Pickens and his company Mesa oil, have invested $2 billion to build the largest wind farm in the world in Pampa, Texas. He's doing this out of the goodness of his heart right? To be a good citizen and help the environment right? Wrong! It's really a scheme to acquire land through eminant domain and to have the U.S. government invest billions in alternative energy through his company that Nancy Pelosi just happens to be a major stock holder in! There is the link to why Pelosi adjorned Congress without a vote on offshore drilling while the Republicans were demanding one. Then she has the nerve to say in an interview about the lack of a vote on drilling that she is "trying to save the world"!! Hey Nancy, we're not all idiots out here!

What can you do? Call Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office and tell her:
1) You are demanding a unconditional vote on new oil drilling.
2) That you are aware that she is using her position to profit from the promotion of alternative energy as an investor in Picken's company!
3) Tell her that you are going to call your Rep and ask them to open an investigation into her actions and then make the call!

Picken's and Pelosi and who knows who else are profiting off of regular Americans paying more at the pump and in turn paying more for everything. People's lives have changed for the worse because of the high fuel prices in every way and they don't care!

This whole global warming thing and radical environmentalism is making me think more and more that it's all a bunch of bull! Take a look at the people that spout how much "we" should change to save the environment, but they never seem to take their own advice. Isn't that right Al Gore, Ted Kennedy, Leonardo DiCaprio, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, ect with your private jets, hugh house and fleets of suv's??? More on that later though.

Obama: Counting on the clueless to vote him in.

O.K. I am now thinking more and more that this country should return to setting qualifications for it's citizens voting in elections. The reason is clear when you see how many people want to vote in Hillary just because she is a woman or how people swoon over Barack Obama at rally after rally, some to the point of fainting, because he offer's "change" and "hope". He never does explain what this "change" will be though and when his supporters are cornered and asked to name one thing Obama has done as Senator or what experience he has to be President, they always come up empty. They then say that not being able to give you an example of what he's done doesn't matter. They tell you he is just such an inspirational, motivating speaker that he must be right for the job. He's not like the other politicians. They tell you that he makes them "FEEL" good about politics again. There's the problem isn't it? The profile of the people that support Obama are usually younger than 35, left leaning, liberal minded, idealistic with no base in real concepts of what it takes to get things done politically in America or the world and they make every decision on how they FEEL. Never letting the facts get in the way.

Well, it seems now that the facts are revealing that Mr and Mrs Barack Obama have anti-white racist leanings from her thesis on being a black separatist on the ivy league campus of Princeton university, to his association with their pastor Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. who goes on anti-white, anti-American rants from the pulpit of his church on a regular basis.

Reverend Wright has now stepped down as the campaign's spiritual leader, but the damage has been done and I believe it will continue to hurt Obama's campaign. Obama has tried to distance himself from Rev. Wright and his outrageous belief's, but no one is buying that Obama doesn't have at least some of those same beliefs to have been a member of Wright's church for so long. Obama grew up going to both Muslim and Catholic schools and had a mix of the two religions from different family members, but there were more Muslim influences on his father's side. Even though Obama says he never found a religion or church he wanted to accept he did say that Wright's ministry spoke to him like no other.

Mr. Wright preached black liberation theology, which interprets the Bible as the story of the struggles of black people, who by virtue of their oppression are better able to understand Scripture than those who have suffered less. That message can sound different to white audiences, said Dwight Hopkins, a professor at University of Chicago Divinity School and a Trinity member. “Some white people hear it as racism in reverse,” Dr. Hopkins said, while blacks hear, “Yes, we are somebody, we’re also made in God’s image.” In the 16 years since Mr. Obama returned to Chicago from Harvard, Mr. Wright has presided over his wedding ceremony, baptized his two daughters and dedicated his house, while Mr. Obama has often spoken at Trinity’s panels and debates. Though the Obamas drop in on other congregations, they treat Trinity as their spiritual home, attending services frequently.

The fact that Rev. Wright has married the Obamas, baptized their two daughter's and in the same report Obama admitted that he consulted with Wright and prayed privately with him about his decision to run for President. Now though, we are supposed to believe that Obama doesn't know how his pastor feels and has never heard these rants before?? Yeah, right! The fact is he CHOSE Wright and his church. He CHOSE his black militant, racially paranoid and separatist America hating wife Michelle. He CHOSE to only denounce his pastor and his actions only when public outrage was reaching the boiling point. The same goes for his churches praise of famous racist and founder of the Nation of Islam Louis Farrakhan. Obama only denounced that praise and the life time achievement award his church presented him, one month by the way, after calling Jews "Bloodsuckers that control the government" and whites "Blue eyed devils and the anti-Christ" in a November 2007 speech when it was becoming noticed by the public that he didn't denounce his churches disgraceful actions.
Obama will still look to his legion of ignorant, inexperienced, idealogs that want to all sit around the camp fire and sing Koom Bai Ah. If they had to take the facts into real consideration when they cast their votes then the fantasy would be over.
What's that saying? Oh yeah... Ignorance is bliss.

Nancy Pelosi's energy plan? Turning the lights, microphones and free speech off on Congress and the people!

On August 1st 2008, Speaker of the House, ultra liberal, Nancy Pelosi, called for a vote for a motion to adjourn and begin their 5 week vacation without a debate or a vote on an energy plan. The reason for the early adjournment vote? House Republicans and some Democrats were standing up and demanding a vote on off shore drilling for oil to help the U.S. get off imported oil. So instead of letting House members debate a bill and vote on it the leaders of both the House and the Senate have successfully blocked proposals for drilling and energy legislation and debates. Why are the Democrats so afraid of allowing a debate and vote on drilling legislation? I'll tell you. It's because as of today 75% of ordinary Americans now WANT drilling both on and off shore here in America according to recent polls! The representatives of these people are feeling the pressure from their constituents who have to pay the high prices at the pumps. Let alone what people will be paying this winter for heating oil! So the Democrat leaders of Congress, Pelosi and Harry Reid won't even entertain a debate, let alone a vote on drilling because they know they will lose and regular Americans will win. I know what you are thinking. Why would they oppose drilling for American oil if it would help the people? I'll tell you. Many Democrats, especially the ultra left wing liberals such as Pelosi, Reid, Feinstein, Kennedy, Kerry, etc have taken the maximum contributions from environmentalist groups over the years. God only knows what back door deals these politicians have with these groups. These corporate and personal environmentalists make up a majority of their campaign money so to go against them would be political suicide. These politicians are doing THEIR will not the American peoples will and that's wrong. I'm all for getting off oil all together, but you have to have a replacement fuel for people to use to get to work, heat their homes and get around in general. These extreme environmentalists and the equally whacked politicians that represent them think that it's OK to shut off our oil supplies all at once with no substitute. Therefore effectively killing the American economy. Oil and coal run this economy whether people like it or not and to cut off the energy supplies we have in this country is utter insanity! It has now been estimated by the Department of Energy itself that the United States has in known oil fields more oil than any other country in the world! Not to mention the areas not uncovered yet and the potential of oil shale technologies. Because of the environmental movement and their lobbyist in Washington new exploration and new drilling has basically stopped because of more and more stringent regulations on drilling and refining put in place by the Congress. Therefore, handcuffing the people of the U.S. and holding them hostage by the Democrats and the countries of OPEC, many of whom hate the U.S. We now import 70%of all the oil we use in this country. It has increased every year since 1971. The last refinery built in the U.S. was in 1976! Now, Democrats say that the oil companies have 68 million acres in oil leases already, why don't they use them? Very simple. There's either no oil on that land or the oil is so spread out retracting the oil would be so costly it wouldn't be worth doing at all. So instead of politicians coming to a compromise that the oil companies can have new oil leases if they give back the one's they already have, they do nothing. The President has called for Congress to lift it's ban on offshore drilling. They have refused up to this point. When President Bush lifted the Presidential ban on offshore drilling two weeks ago it was mostly symbolic, but since, oil prices have dropped from $150 a barrel to $120. That drop in price was on just the threat of offshore drilling! Even though gas prices have gone down in the last few weeks because of that drop in crude oil, many people are still being squeezed by the high fuel prices. Many people have to now make decisions on how to best use their decreased amount of income after they pay for fuel to get to work. Myself and my wife both have 35 mile commutes, one way. When we bought our home in 2004, I was outraged a few months later when gas hit $1.65! My blood is boiling every time I have to fill up at almost $4.00 a gallon. I have done everything from making sure my tires are inflated and doing regular maintenance and I rarely drive over 65 mph on the highway anymore. I don't care who likes it behind me or not. I stay out of the left lane at least. We even went so far as to take a loan against my 401K to buy a small commuter car for me. A 1996 Subaru impreza outback with all wheel drive. It only had 49k on it when I bought it and was in really good shape. My 2001 Dodge with the 33 gallon tank only gets used on the weekends around town, a trip to the dump or to home depot now.

So when I hear that Democrats adjourned Congress without an up or down vote on off shore drilling because they want to block any move to drill to appease their contributors I feel betrayed, but not surprised. They democrats don't care about the regular people like us. Now the Republicans are not much better, but at least they stayed and held a protest session in the Capitol building for 5 hours after Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats left, turned off the TV cameras from CSPAN (which they control)and microphones not once but twice so the network news couldn't film them refusing to vote on drilling! Then they turned the lights off on the Republicans. These are the same Democrats that people mistakenly think are working for the "regular guy". Let's do the country a favor. Call the President at the White House (202-456-6213) and ask to leave a message for the President and ask him to recall the Congress into special session to vote on this issue asap. He has the right to do this under the Constitution. Then call your Senator and Congressman, here is the Capitol hill switchboard,(202 224-3121) ask for your Senator or Representative's office, they will connect you. Tell them to support off and on shore drilling and if they don't let's turn the lights out on them next time they are up for election!
